Trick or treat goes healthy with this Halloween Special: Pumpkin-Cabbage Stew, served with wild rice, served on our new, exclusive Mateus Ceramics designs. Let the party begin!

What you need:

350 g pumpkin, diced
200 g carrot
1 onion, minced
½ white cabbage
1 stalk of celery, in small wedges
1 tsp curry powder
½ broth cubicle (we used vegetable stock)
5 large tomatoes
2 hands of raisins
4 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger powder
3 cloves garlic, pressed
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp black pepper
400 g wild rice
How you make it:

Cook the wild rice according to the package and put it aside.

Put the garlic, onion and olive oil in a deep pan, on medium fire and cook until the aroma comes together.

Add all vegetables, stir for a while and put the fire on ‘low’, keep the lid on the pan

Simmer for 45 minutes, stir every 5 to 10 minutes

Add the raisins after 30 minutes and stir them through the stew

Serve (in the context of the Celtic tradition) with Celtic sea salt and wild rice.
